International Cricket Council (ICC) World Twenty20 (T20) 2016 will be played in Mumbai with its first match commencing on March 8. The schedule was released by ICC in Mumbai on Friday and Indian cricketers Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane and Shikhar Dhawan were spotted with the coveted trophy on the occasion.
ICC instantly took to their official Twitter handle where they
uploaded a picture of the trio along with the trophy and wrote, “Team
India welcomes you to #WT20 2016!”
India have been set in Group 2 alongside New Zealand, Australia, Pakistan and the victor of Group A, though shielding champions Sri Lanka impart their gathering to England, South Africa and West Indies alongside the victor from Group B. The competition will be played at eight venues crosswise over India. India will bolt horns with New Zealand in their first session of the release on March 15 which will be trailed by Pakistan on December 19 at Dharamsala.
The competition is relied upon to be loaded with amusement and fervor as the top picks India will have the home favorable position.
